Four amazing ladies -Alicia Fillback, Marissa Olivia, Bryanne Harris and Carmen Shafer- took a road trip through Oregon and Washington state and got some clips for our delight. Carmen ‘Sutra’ Shafer has been putting some time on editing videos this year and we’re pretty stoked about it. Enjoy!
Our girls LGC USA Ambassador Cindy Zhou and LGC Australia Ambassador Jenna Russo spent two weeks road tripping through Australia with Monty, Jenna’s caravan. They skated, surfed, danced to Justin Bieber (we know), explored and laughed. A lot.
The girls met during the shooting of OPEN in Israel and some years later made this happen. We’re stoked!
We’re over the moon to finally show you our ad for Bouygues Telecom, one of France’s biggest telephone companies. Some weeks ago some of us including Eider Walls, Ishtar Bäcklund, Lyde Begue, Noelia Otegui, Femke Bosma and Valeria Kechichian shot in Southern France this ad under the orders of Ty Evans, Director of Pretty Sweet and We Are Blood. How awesome is that?!
We did a little road trip from the Pyrenees to Biarritz, going downhill in some dreamy Pyrenees roads to end up skating bowls and surfing in Biarritz.
The team we worked with was absolutely amazing and brilliant. From the client to the Agency BETC, the Production company PHANTASM and everyone involved. Cameras operators, assistants, production, stylist, hair and makeup (not that we need any) and everyone who was part of it was incredible kind and talented.
For our personal joy, the photographer of the ad was the amazing and crazy talented Theo Gosselin. We will post his photos shortly, so stay tuned for those!
We want to thank each and everyone involved in this. Specially the client, agency and production company who decided to portray real women doing something still mostly associated to men. It’s a gift to be able to reach such wide and mainstream audiences and portray women being more than “pretty” in an ad. We’re in love with the idea of young girls watching this on TV and thinking they can do anything. So THANK YOU!!
Here’s to more women doing rad things in mainstream media. Thanks for the love!
With the recent earthquakes in Nepal, LGC Canadian Ambassador and current IDF World Champion Elena Corrigall joined team mates Nick Fenyo and Aaron John Ketner through their raddest adventure so far: pushing 500 kilometres through the Himalayas to support Oxfam in Nepal and its people.
In Elena’s words “After an 80 Kilometer ‘warm up’ push to a beautiful Monastery tucked away in the Himalaya, we have regained our breath and are heading out in the morning light to tackle our 500 Kilometer push to Manali. Pushing at these altitudes really takes it to the next level and I am quite certain I can honestly state that this will be the most taxing challenge I will have ever put my body through”
It was definitely not an easy journey but according to her it was an unforgettable one. We seriously can’t wait to hear all the stories but in the meantime, PLEASE contribute if you can with their Oxfam campaign HERE which is the reason while this adventure happened in the first place. Please share & contribute, only some hours left!
We’re stoked on this all and couldn’t be happier with Elena showing so much love and respect for human kind. This is what Longboard Girls Crew is all about… doing selfless things for others. Big ups for you Miss Corrigall, we love you.
Check out Gior ‘La Rata’ Ferrero from Longboard Girls Crew Argentina who finished second during the IGSA Teolo race in Italy. Awesome raw run girl!
