• It’s all about trucks

Now that you’ve selected your longboard deck, it’s time to select your trucks. The truck selection on a longboard skateboard is especially important since it’s the trucks that will allow you to turn as well as keep your wheels properly anchored to your board.

Thanks again to Steve C and the Silverfish Team for educating us about the physics behind longboard. There isn’t a better way to pick the right equipment but understanding it first.

I understood it, but I think a few notes that illustrate the concepts in real-world terms would be beneficial as well.
Maybe an image that shows the flow direction of the board during turns with each configuration? Showing the difference in turn radius?
    Thanks for the info tho

I didn’t find this very useful. ( don’t mean to rain on anyone’s parade )
What I like is practical information. For instance as in : ” which trucks can I use if I want to carve? “
