Thrasher Magazine – 30th Anniversary
One of the most legendary skateboard Magazines, Thrasher, turned 30 this year!!
To celebrate this important anniversary there is an ongoing travelling exhibition titled: “The Love & Guts” , hitting these days The Lab in Costa Mesa, California.
A makeshift gallery was constructed out of an unoccupied Oakley store filled with an amazing range of photos presented in a chronological order to give a timeline feel. The art show portraits many of the iconic images from over the past 30 years documenting the history, culture, and evolution of skateboarding.
The magazine was created by Kevin Thatcher and Fausto Vitello in 1981.
The stars of the Love & Guts art show talk about some of the epic photos.
