Born and raised in Madrid, Sonso Masia is a 19 years old fine arts and architecture student who won’t leave you indifferent if you see her wearing her black and blue leather suit going at high speed downhill in Madrid’s Mountains.
Believe it or not, she has only been skating a year now and today is definitely one of the youngest promises of our crew in Spain, sponsored recently by Ridersfly & Arbor Europe and team rider of daktakshop.
Sonso is the perfect example of what we are proud to be witnessing growing within this longboard girls’ generation: passionate, versatile , no complexes (she never had a doubt to participate in a mens race in South Spain this September) bold and yet very aware of safety, actively involved with all the crews she is in touch with (LGCs, Madrid Longboard and Longboard Europe), competitive in a good way and surely very talented.
You might have seen her in Carving the Mountains video by Juan Rayos and now she went back to that same spot in Cercedilla and Avila (her family’s hometown) to film her new video which we presented you a couple of days ago in the fan page. That same day, All around skate posted an interesting interview about her which we highly recommend you to read ( Click HERE ). The author of the interview is our also friend Gbemi from London Longboard and Longboard Europe who we would like to congratulate for his newly incorporation as blogger in that site with the magnificent interview to her.
Enjoy the video
